R5: INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES AND MUSEUMS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH OBSTACLES

A four-month internship program at archaeological sites and museums for young people with obstacles, providing them with a dynamic and educational experience that prepares them for employment as technicians in museums and archaeological sites.

Between March and June 2026, we implemented this internship program with young people from Italy, France, Portugal, and Spain, who had the opportunity to join the communications teams of the Atapuerca Foundation (Fundación Atapuerca, Spain), the European Centre for Prehistoric Research in Tautavel (Centre Européen de Recherches Préhistoriques de Tautavel, France), and the Vall de Côa Foundation (Fundaçao Vall de Côa, Portugal).

These young people have become the first Ambassadors of Culture and Science.
